More than 700 people from across the whole of the grocery industry gathered at the Hilton on Park Lane for the prestigious Annual Diamond Ball on Friday 6th March 2015.

The evening was a huge success and thanks to the generosity of all who attended more than £280,000 was raised.

The Diamond Ball was attended by key industry figures with the welcome speech given by John Farrell, Managing Director – New Business Development, Tesco Stores Ltd, who thanked everyone who had contributed to the evening.

On the night there was a stunning Diamond Draw sponsored by Fayrefield Foods, which raised more than £10,000, where one lucky person won a stunning pair of 18ct cuff pave set earrings containing a total of 1 ct diamonds worth more than £3,500.

During the evening, GroceryAid recognised the contribution of their volunteers who have given their time for at least ten years to help the charity in its work. The GroceryAid Hall of Fame is the charity’s way of saying thank you to all these committed volunteers who come from all areas of our industry, and without such individual assistance the charity would not be as healthy as it is today.
