A team of staff from Fayrefield Foods will take on the Cheshire Cycle 70 Route to raise money for the Mid-Cheshire Hospital Charity Trust Scanner Appeal in memory of Theresa Kerr.
Under the brand of “Collier’s Powerful Welsh Cheddar”, the team of 16 staff, headed up by Nick Hilton, Managing Director will embark on the 176 mile round trip over 2½ days to raise money for the Scanner Appeal. They will set off from Fayrefield Head Office on Friday 28 August and then complete the circular route arriving back to the Office on Sunday, 30 August.
The team is hoping to raise over £10,000 to aid the appeal to reach their target of £1 million to procure an additional scanner unit at Leighton Hospital. This will address the shortfall in MRI scanning capacity to continue to deliver first-class health care and help save more lives within the area of Cheshire.
Update: We are pleased to be joined by cricketer, dancer, radio pundit and brand ambassador for Collier’s Powerful Welsh Cheddar, Darren Gough on the Collier’s Cheshire Cycle Tour.
