Fayrefield Foods has boosted distribution of super premium Spanish crisps San Nicasio Patatas Fritas.
The handmade extra virgin olive oil crisps will be launched across selected branches of Waitrose, including 20 in London, one in Bath and one in Newcastle.
The distinctive pink bags are set to be a regular sight at Waitrose as UK consumers increasingly appreciate the brand’s high quality ingredients, unique taste and texture.
Made with Catalan potatoes and Himalayan pink salt, they are produced in the Córdoba mountain range in Andalucia, the centre of the olive growing region in Spain.
They are made with extra virgin olive oil that has “Priego de Córdoba” denomination of origin and is recognised as being amongst the best olive oils in the world.
San Nicasio have won four Gold awards from the Brussels World Selection of Quality in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 and are a truly artisan product, explains Fayrefield Foods’ Mike Coleman.
“San Nicasio is no ordinary crisp. It is an authentic delicacy for consumers who appreciate great taste, natural ingredients, provenance and traditional production methods.”
San Nicasio is available at RSP £3.99 for 190g.
