Established in 1934, the Isle of Man Creamery is a small co-operative of
51 dairy farmers.
The milk supplied by the island’s dairy herds is
distinctively creamy, and is one of the secrets behind the award winning taste
of the Isle Of Man's range of innovative cheeses.
Once fresh milk is delivered to all corners of the
Isle of Man, the remaining 70% is used to produce the award winning range of
cheeses – all of which reflect the traditional skills and long culinary heritage
of this enchanting island.
The lush grass and rolling landscape of the Island
are ideal for dairy cows. Add to this the care and attention of dedicated
farmers and you've got happy and healthy cows producing exceptional quality
milk. It is this milk that makes the Cheeses of the Isle of Man range so creamy
and full of flavour. Relying on local farmers such as Jean at Lheakerrow Farm,
Andreas and Eric at Billown Farm, Ballasalla, the Isle of Man Creamery guarantee
our customers 100% traceability and 100% taste appeal.
